Our presence in the Greater Philadelphia market started back in 2002 with the expansion of KMA & Associates out of Pittsburgh.
Four years later, Matt Boyle started Facility & Design Resource with a very simple philosophy – we’re here to help!
Today, FDR has grown into an organization that has strong and long lasting partnerships with a wide array of manufacturers servicing our A+D, Healthcare and Dealer Partners. FDR currently has a team of three outside salespeople and one inside support person, each of us focused on supporting our design, distribution & end-user partners.

Matt Boyle
PRESIDENT
25+ years of contract office, educational & hospitality furniture experience. Held sales and management roles with Kimball Office & Falcon products prior to expanding KMA & Associates into Eastern PA. Established FDR in 2005. Matt’s free time is spent outside either on the soccer pitch, playing golf, hiking or walking his dog Scout. Married to his very patient and understanding wife, Holly and has two sons, Reilly and Brendan.
Tim Kalberer

Tim has been with FDR for over 10 years and brings over 40+ total years of office furniture experience both at Kimball Office as well as at Lear Associates as an independent rep. Tim Spends his free time enjoying sports and golf. He is married to his wife Tracey and has twin daughters, Meghan and Meredith.
Patrick Crawford
ASSOCIATE
Patrick brings over 10 years of contract furniture experience in several roles including sales, operations and management positions with Compel Office. He is originally from the Chicago area and moved to Philadelphia in 2014. When not on the clock you can find Patrick on the golf course, on a hike, at one of the many concert venues around the city, or around the neighborhood with his wife, Sarah and their dogs, Gus and Greta.

Susan Firsich
OFFICE MANAGER + INSIDE SUPPORT
Susan joined FDR in 2010 and has over 20 years of contract furniture experience in such roles as facilities project management and design/account management roles at the dealer level. She enjoys traveling with her husband Michael, and spending time with their dogs.
